The Oxford Fire Department shoulder patch was designed by Firefighter Steve Sell, while he was Marquette County Sheriff. The patch made use of the “lime green” color that the department is known for in the county. The patch design was an original design, but was not copywrited, so the patch manufacturer has used the design for other fire departments around the country.
